SENATE BILL NO. 81 "An Act relating to electric and telephone                                                                   
cooperatives; and relating to telephone service and related                                                                     
telecommunications services" was read the second time.                                                                          
                                                                                                                                
Senator Bishop, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                                
adoption of the Labor and Commerce Committee Substitute offered on                                                              
page 1863. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection.                                                                
There being no further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL                                                                            
NO. 81(L&C) was adopted.                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
President Giessel stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 81(L&C) will                                                                    
advance to third reading on the March 4 calendar.
